Transportation alternatives

Wednesday, February 15th, 2017 from 7:30pm to 9:00pm (ET)

About

After receiving feedback from the community, NYC DOT is bringing the latest version of the Van Duzer Street Corridor plan before Community Board 1 for a vote. Join us on February 15th and show your support for traffic calming and bicycle lanes on Staten Island!

The Van Duzer Street Corridor has become a haven for speeding drivers, putting residents at risk. These streets also suffer from long crossing distances, few marked crosswalks, missing sidewalks, and no bike lanes! Something needs to be done, and this proposed plan by NYC DOT will:

  • Discourage speeding
  • Enhance intersections
  • Add full-time on-street parking (yes, really!)
  • Add crosswalks
  • Add bicycle lanes

WHAT: Staten Island Community Board 1 meeting
WHEN: Wednesday, February 15 from 7:30 - 9:00
WHERE: All Saints Episcopal Church, 2329 Victory Blvd, Staten Island 10314

Community Board 1 needs to see our support, so please join us on 2/15/2017 and make your voices heard!

Hope to see you there!
